Operational Purchaser – Production Procurement

We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Operational Purchaser to join our procurement team. You will be based in Denmark, working from our site in Assens, but you will also be an active part of our team in Poland. Your manager is located in Poland, and you will collaborate closely with colleagues across both countries. 

BROEN Valve Technologies is a market leader in valve technology for water, air, and gas regulation, serving the HVAC and sanitary industries, district heating, and natural gas sectors. 

Your Responsibilities

• Daily procurement planning for BI production in Assens 
• Procurement planning for Full Flow production
• Lead buyer responsibility for brass and brass components
• Purchasing of agency goods
• Supplier follow-up and performance monitoring
• Maintaining and updating purchasing data in M3
• Ensuring timely flow of raw materials to meet production needs
• Cost-optimizing purchases to support margin improvement
• Monitoring raw material inventory value and initiating corrective actions when needed
• Supporting purchasing projects in collaboration with your manager

All activities should align with the company’s strategy, goals, and policies.

Your Profile 

• Experience in operational purchasing within a manufacturing or production company
• Familiarity with M3 or similar MRP systems
• Solid negotiation and supplier management skills
• Understanding of the metals market—especially brass and various types of steel
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and certificates
• Technical insight and a practical mindset
• Self-driven, independent approach with strong problem-solving skills
